More than a food festival, the Ceviche Chow Down serves a meaningful mission.
The event raises funds for Mission FISH, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing fishing therapy trips for Veterans, Active Duty Military, First Responders, and Gold Star Families. Proceeds help support Operation Anacapa 2026, Mission FISH’s 11th annual fishing trip that provides more than 100 heroes a day of Fishing, Interacting, Sharing, and Healing on the water.
Studies have shown that Fishing has mental health benefits. Being in nature can improve your mood and also has positive long term effects on depression and memory. We bring together participants who could be in need of interacting with others while sharing a day together, building friendships and self-esteem.
If you are a Restaurant or Caterer and are interested in showcasing your Ceviche, we would love to have you participate in our Ceviche Chow Down. If you have any questions please send us a message and we will get back to you soon!
